So, this weekend I went to see Iron Man.

Totally awesome about sums it up.

If you own anything technical, if you like gadgets in the slightest, you NEED to see Iron Man. And I mean you NEED to. In the same way you NEED food. Go see it. Tony Stark has the coolest set of gadgets and gizmos (including the Mark III Iron Man suit) that you've seen in a movie in a while. It's 2 hours of nerd-pr0n. Everyone will want JARVIS.

And hang around til the end, there IS something after the credits.

On top of that, they actually managed to have an action/tech movie with...and hang on to the edge of your seat...a plot.

I know. It surprised me too. But the movie is actually well done in that the tech gadgets (*drool*) are not to the point of eliminating any hope for the characters or story.

And lets be honest, if you've seen the trailers, you know you want to go see the film.

Also, went to the zoo, and I'll be posting pictures of that.

Another thing, get Audio Surf. It's the most fun I've had with my computer in a while. You can get it off Steam for 10 dollars. DO IT! DO IT NOW!

EDIT:So, you all say, why is Lycan, who works days and all, updating his journal at 3:13AM HIS LOCAL TIME??!!

I'll tell you. My family BBQ'd this weekend, and my dad, the master BBQ'er, who admittedly makes a good burger, somehow let all of his Eagle Scout/Smokey the Bear training go bye-bye and set the brush and trees behind our house on fire. He's on a flight to Wisconsin, so my mother wakes me at 2:30 IN THE MORNING so I can stagger out there half nekkid with a garden hose to try and find all the smoldering embers.

It's dark. I'm tired. I'm not a fire-fighter. The amount of smoke has gone down a lot, it seems to be just steaming now, but "playing amateur fire-fighter" is not high on my list of things to do in the early AM. Nope. It's not.

There may be another update in a couple hours if it flares back up. Curse you, Dad!

On a more serious note, I have a question for you all...

I've started a system with my deviations. Because I tend to go to a place and shoot a couple hundred photos to pick from and edit and then upload here, I do sets. Each set (so far) has a folder for it's entirety in my gallery, and it's own dedicated journal entry. I link all the submissions to the journal, and the journal to the folder.

Is this working? What do you think of this means of organization? Is it helpful at all?

Over time, I'll age photos so that given collections will have fewer and fewer featured deviations until only one or two remain. This is so I can try and keep my featured deviations less cluttered. Any thoughts on that?
