First off, I am not the artist for this. The artist is a good friend of mine who wishes to remain anonymous, and is not me. That's part of why the image is small, please deal.
The title ought to give it all away as far as the joke. The idea spawned from an IRC chat in which I mentioned that my room-mate can and does, occasionally, act like George. Since my friend is also a Blackadder fan, he got the reference and then seized upon the idea of drawing The Zoo (what the place I stay at is referred to because of the preponderance of furries) in the style of an old regimental photo based on Blackadder Goes Forth. And there you have it! As insight from the artist, the roo was drawn first; then the bear/Baldric, then Damon as Blackadder. I have a large copy of this on my fridge which I intend to get framed because it has me chuffed in nine different ways. Used with permission. |
